Whether you're new to coaching or looking to deepen your understanding of how our services can support your personal and professional growth, this resource is here to help.

  • One way to define one’s legacy is by the learning and experiences that lives on in others after you are gone. I have been blessed with many platforms in my life from which to work with, teach and develop others; as a husband and father, as a teacher in public education, as a first sergeant in the United States military, as a sports coach, as a professional musician, as a director of organizational development and operations in the corporate world and as an active member of my church. As a personal coach and consultant, for the first time, I’m building my own personal platform from which to help others define what is meaningful to them and how to attain it. This legacy of assisting others in exploring and practicing their ways of being is why I do this work.

  • I chose the word triad for its multiple references to important aspects of my life. In no particular order; the connection between mind, body and spirit, chords in music are called triads, the three disciplines in triathlon are swim, bike and run, there are three primary colors - red, yellow and blue, three points of contact create balance, three factors in athletic training include exercise, nutrition and recovery, the holy trinity of the father, son and holy ghost.

I chose the words coaching and consulting as there are differences in the expectations, processes and working dynamic between a client and a coach versus a client and a consultant (see definitions and distinctions of coaching, consulting, therapy and mentoring below). I chose the word services as it represents the support services I provide clients as they discover the clarity, actions, practices and achievements they desire.

  • I work with individuals and teams to clarify their goals and purpose, determine practices and actions to pursue those ends and provide accountability and feedback during the process of self-development. I am helping people realize the best versions of themselves via a profound personal development approach that examines how our beliefs, emotions, and language shape our experiences and identities. The BEL model—Beliefs, Emotions, and Language—highlights the interplay between these elements, allowing clients to uncover and challenge limiting beliefs that may hinder their growth. Complementing this, the OAR model—Observer, Action, Results—encourages clients to adopt a reflective stance as they observe their reality, take intentional actions, and assess the outcomes. Together, these models empower individuals to gain deep insights into their behaviors and thought patterns, paving the way for meaningful change. Ultimately, ontological coaching fosters a greater sense of self-awareness and authenticity, enabling clients to align their actions with their core values and aspirations.

  • I work with individuals, leaders, executives, teams and companies interested in self and team development via an ontological based approach.

  • Ontological coaching is a transformative approach that focuses on the way individuals perceive and interpret their experiences, beliefs, and identity. It leverages an understanding of ontology, the philosophical study of being, to help clients explore their inner landscapes and uncover limiting assumptions. Through deep listening and powerful questioning, ontological coaches facilitate self-awareness and promote authentic self-expression. This coaching method emphasizes the interconnectedness of thoughts, emotions, and actions, allowing clients to create meaningful changes in their lives. Ultimately, ontological coaching empowers individuals to embrace new ways of being, fostering personal growth and fulfillment.

  • Coaching sessions run 60 minutes and follow the arc of coaching and ontological coaching philosophy as practiced by the Newfield Ontological Coaching Network. During the session I will respond to your agenda, goals and needs rather than direct the conversation or insert my own agenda. Conversations are kept confidential and will abide by and uphold the ethical guidelines as defined by the International Coaching Federation. While the client is responsible for their own learning and growth, I will act as a partner in the learning and growth via a conversation filled with questions, listening and reflection on the topic at hand.

  • I am available to meet in person or digitally via zoom or teams platforms.

  • Between coaching sessions clients are asked to reflect on and practice any actions or declarations they have made during their session. This may include, but not be limited to, journaling, somatic work or reading. I will supply the client with notes from their session including any additional documents, quotes, or book recommendations that may be relevant to the discovery process.

  • The length of coaching relationships can vary. Six months is the least amount of time I believe allows for significant learning, change and progress to occur. At the outset of coaching, the client and coach will draw up an agreement defining the length and frequency of coaching sessions with planned reviews determined ahead of time to identify progress and areas for continued work.

  • Contact me using the following link to schedule a free 60 minute exploratory session. We will explore your expectations for a coaching relationship, answer any questions you may have, collectively determine if we are a good fit for each other and outline a coaching agreement that addresses the length and frequency of coaching that best suits your needs.
